This is to inform you that the Union Territory Administration of Lakshadweep (UTAL) has invited proposals for the development and operation of a resort in Minicoy Island through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. This is an excellent opportunity for the hospitality sector to bring to fruition of the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s’ vision to unlock the tourism potential of Lakshadweep.

Minicoy Island, with its turquoise waters, pristine beaches, and vibrant coral reefs, is poised to become a premier tourist destination. The UTAL seeks experienced and committed partners to develop and manage a world-class resort that complements the island's natural beauty and cultural heritage, aligning perfectly with PM Modi's vision.

We believe that this project presents a unique opportunity to not only tap into the burgeoning tourism market but also contribute to the sustainable development of Lakshadweep. Interested members can participate in the bidding process and can grab the opportunity to transform Minicoy Island into the "Maldives of India," a model for sustainable tourism and a crown jewel in Lakshadweep's tourism landscape.
