Subject: Tourism & Hospitality Session during the 27th World Investment Conference on 13th  December 2023 at         New Delhi

Dear Member,

It is our distinct pleasure to inform you that the 27th edition of World Investment Conference (27th WIC) is being organized on 13th December 2023 at ‘Yashobhoomi’, Dwarka, New Delhi. The event is being executed under Invest India’s Presidency of the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) and with the support of Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. WAIPA, headquartered in Geneva, is the primary nodal agency for Investment Promotion Agencies (IPAs) from 110 nations.

FHRAI is a key partner for the Tourism & Hospitality session, being organized as part of the 27th WIC. 

The theme of 27th WIC is “Empowering Investors: IPAs Pioneering Future Growth”, with a paramount focus on strengthening IPA – Investor relations. The event is expected to be attended by around 1000 participants comprising of;

• 60+ countries represented mostly by their IPA heads
• Trade Ministers from select countries
• Global and Indian Investors
• Indian and Global Startups and Businesses
• Multilateral Agencies; Subject Matter Experts and Academicians
• IPAs of G20 Countries
• Representation from around 15+ Indian States/UTs and select State Ministers
• Industry Associations

After the plenary and ministerial sessions on 13th December 2023, a dedicated Tourism & Hospitality session will be conducted where around select countries investment teams and senior officials from Indian States will be presenting their investment opportunities.

The Conference is a unique platform to listen to investment experts and multilateral organizations deliberate on key global subjects that impact the overall investment ecosystem. These sessions aim to empower corporate leaders with insights into current trends, aiding them in formulating future strategies for their organizations.

27th WIC also offers an opportunity to visit “Experience India Zone” showcasing the best of products, technology and services.
