Dear Member,
The Government of India is spreading awareness and educating all segments of the population on the utility and advantages of using digital means for financial transaction which is an important step in empowering the people.
It is requested that your organization may consider following initiatives to achieve the desired goals:
- All payment and receipts by the hotels/restaurants may be done only through digital options.
- To launch massive campaign in the hotels/restaurants. Awareness material is available on NITI Aayog’s website (http://niti.gov.in/content/digital-payments).
- The target groups beneficiaries/guests etc. coming into contact with the hotels/restaurants may be enabled to transact digitally.
In this regard a letter received from Ministry of Tourism, Government of India is attached for your ready reference.
