Sub:- Stakeholder Conference for Tourism Projects in A & N Islands on 4th December 2023 in New Delhi

Dear Member,

This is in reference to the enclosed communication received from the Managing Director, Andaman & Nicobar Islands Integrated Development Corporation Ltd ( ANIIDCO).

Please be informed that the Islands Development Agency (IDA), an apex body under the Chairmanship of Hon’ble Home Minister of India, has taken the initiative of holistic development of Island territories under the guidance of NITI Aayog. In the first phase, four Eco Tourism Projects have been identified in Long Island, Aves Island, Smith Island and Shaheed Dweep for implementation on PPP mode. 

In order to assess the market interest, final phasing & structure of the projects and to seek feedback from the market players, ANIIDCO is organizing a Stakeholders’ Conference on 4th  December 2023 from 11.00 a.m. onwards at ITC Maurya, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.

The Hon’ble Lt. Governor and Chief Secretary of Andaman & Nicobar Administration have confirmed their presence in the Conference.
