Sir / Madam

Please refer to MR Division’s Work Order’s No. 8(6)/2018-MRD dated 15.03.2018 (copy attached) on the subject mentioned whereby a Study on “Assessing Impact of taxation/incentives on accommodation tariff of hotel industry in India vis-à-vis other countries” was commissioned to IITTM, Noida as per the scope of  work, objectives , terms of reference of the study, methodology etc. in proposal . The `Terms of Reference’ of the study may kindly be seen in the aforesaid  Work Order.

 The MR Division has now forwarded a draft Study Report on “Assessing Impact of taxation/incentives on accommodation tariff of hotel industry in India vis-à-vis other countries” commissioned by IITTM, Noida as per Terms of Reference mandated.  A soft copy of the said draft study Report is attached for your perusal.

You are requested to kindly furnish your comments, if any , on the aforementioned  draft Study report with in a week  so that the same could be submitted for acceptance/ approval by  Competent Authority.
