As you are aware, the hospitality sector in India is currently facing a significant challenge due to a shortage of qualified human resources. This situation is further exacerbated by the declining trend in student enrolments in hospitality education, despite the remarkable growth in the industry in recent years.
It is crucial for the hospitality sector to take proactive steps to address these pressing challenges. Ensuring a conducive and adaptive learning and working environment is vital to attract and retain talent. Creating such an environment must be a shared responsibility of all stakeholders to ensure the sector remains vibrant and competitive.
To address these issues, the FHRAI Centre of Excellence, in collaboration with the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), is organizing the HR Summit: Education and Career in Hospitality on 14th November 2024 at Hotel Le-Meridien, New Delhi.
This Summit will serve as a key platform for stakeholders from industry, academia, and government to deliberate on the critical issues affecting hospitality education and its future. The discussions will focus on developing long-term strategies to address the emerging challenges in hospitality education and career development.
