Sub:- Invitation to the Workshop on “Water Use Efficiency: Strategies for a Sustainable Future”

Dear Member,

This is to inform you that the Bureau of Water Use Efficiency (BWUE), under the National Water Mission (NWM), Ministry of Jal Shakti, has been at the forefront of promoting the adoption of IS 17650 Part 1 and Part 2 standards over the past few years. To advance this initiative and engage stakeholders from the building industry, the BWUE (NWM), in collaboration with the Indian Plumbing Association (IPA), is organising a workshop on “Water Use Efficiency: Strategies for a Sustainable Future” on 27th January, 2025 at NDMC Convention Centre, Palika Kendra, Sansad Marg, New Delhi from 10.00 a.m. onwards.  This will be focussed on the Domestic Built Environment Sector.

This workshop will serve as a unique platform, bringing together esteemed dignitaries and industry leaders from the housing and building sectors. Participants will have an exceptional opportunity to interact with policymakers and officials from BIS, DPIIT, and Ministries such as Jal Shakti (MoJS) and Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA). Representatives from key organizations, including CPWD, MES, NBCC, CII-IGBC, CREDAI, COA, NAREDCO, IIID, and IIA, will also grace the event. 

Indian Plumbing Association has invited the members of FHRAI to actively participate and contribute to this program. A detailed agenda is enclosed for your reference.
