Subject: Draft of Food Safety and Standards (Amendment) Bill 2020  

Dear Member,

This is to inform you that The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare proposes to finalize Food Safety & Standards ( Amendment ) Bill 2020 for bringing amendment to Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.

Accordingly a draft Food Safety & Standards ( Amendment ) Bill 2020 has been prepared by the Ministry  and the same is enclosed for the kind perusal of the members of FHRAI.

Members are hereby requested to share their valuable comments /  suggestions on the draft bill on email to eatosg@fhrai.com  latest  by Monday, 19th October  2020 to enable us to share with the Ministry for their consideration.
