Sub:- Revising the Option for Selecting the Validity period during Application for FSSAI License / Registration

Dear Member,

This is to inform you that FHRAI had submitted a representation to the Hon’ble Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Chemicals and Fertilizers on 8th August 2023, requesting for “Perpetual FSSAI License for Hospitality Establishments”.  A copy of the representation is enclosed for your reference.

In this regard, we have received a communication from FSSAI stating that the Regulator has partially modified the order dated 11th January, 2023 and issued a fresh order dated 08.11.2023 informing the stakeholders that the Food Business Operators applying for new license/registration or applying for renewal shall be able to select the validity period of 1 to 5 years in their application with effect from 08.11.2023 copies of the orders is attached.
