Subject: Opportunity to Participate in Ministry of Tourism’s Curated Residency Programs on Wellness, Buddhist and Cultural Tourism

Dear Member,

Greetings from FHRAI!

We are pleased to inform you that the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, has launched an innovative initiative in the form of Curated Residency Program, beginning with Wellness Tourism and Buddhist Tourism as pilot projects, to be followed by Cultural Tourism. These programs aim to position India as a premier destination for immersive, experience-driven travel among key opinion leaders and influencers from high-potential international markets.

This strategic move aligns with the government’s broader vision to enhance Brand India across global platforms and open new frontiers in niche tourism segments.

The Ministry has invited industry players from travel and hospitality sector to join this program by providing accommodation, travel services etc. for the influencers.

Key Benefits for Participants:

  • Exclusive Branding & Visibility

Participating hotels, resorts, and service providers will gain direct recognition through Ministry of Tourism platforms and visibility under the prestigious Incredible India campaign.

  • Direct Marketing Access to International Influencers

Hand-picked influencers from both established and emerging markets will engage with Indian destinations in curated itineraries, offering high-impact exposure through their global networks.

  • Government-backed Partnerships

The Ministry will actively coordinate with Airlines, State Governments, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution, thus providing a unique public-private collaborative framework.

Interested hotels / wellness centres / service providers are requested to confirm their willingness on the following points  to asg@fhrai.com,  not later than 25th July’2025:

  • Ther willingness to participate in the Curated Residency Program by hosting the content creators/ influencers along with their preferred theme(s).
  • Submit 3–4 key source markets and suggest a list of influencers (if available) for each theme.

Let us together make these residency programs a global showcase of India's rich, diverse, and evolving tourism landscape.

With regards,

Jaison Chacko
Secretary General
