SUB: INSTRUCTIONS ISSUED BY THE MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS ON AMENDING VARIOUS PROVISIONS RELATING TO E-VISA
Dear Member,
This is to inform you that the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has issued various instructions on amending the provisions related to e-Visa.
Some of them are given below:-
- Port Blair Seaport, Andaman and Nicobar Islands is now an authorized ICP for Entry of foreign nationals holding e-Visa.
- It has been decided to extend the e-Medical and e-Medical attendant visa facility on ‘Gratis basis’ to Bangladeshi nationals (for one patient and maximum 3 attendants) travelling to India from Bangladesh.
- Other provisions of chapter 2 – “e-Visa”, shall apply to the e-Medical / e-Medical Attendant Visa for Bangladesh national.
